Couples Bio: We met while attending Whitworth College in Spokane, WA. We married soon after college graduation and settled into life in Spokane for a few years, before moving west to Seattle. Seattle cultivated a love for city life and the Northwest in both of us as Brian pursued his career by attending medical school at the University of Washington and Sherrie continued to teach elementary school. In 2001, our son, Ian, was born. As a family, we enjoy hiking, reading, and going on kid-friendly adventures together. In the summer of 2005, we relocated to Portland for Brian to complete his residency program. Sherrie finished up her master's degree in Education and Literacy and now works part-time as a reading tutor while enjoying life at-home as a mom. Now, at the mature age of five, Ian attends pre-kindergarten and is looking forward to being a big brother to his newborn sister, Sydney Mae.

Angies Bio: I really like the outdoors, especially things to do with water. I enjoy kayaking, swimming, climbing and hiking. I love being around people and getting to know their stories. I have a heart for the homeless and I love kids. I like to make things with my hands, and I enjoy baking for my friends.
